Michael Surjan

Michael is an exceptionally hard-working, dedicated and passionate individual who is not afraid to push himself to achieve the best possible outcome. Over the last 8 years, Michael has had the privilege to study under various academics, actors, directors and practitioners to develop his craft into a dynamic and unique style of performance. Having completed his Bachelor of Arts for Drama and Theatre at Murdoch University, Michael is eager to take on newfound opportunities and showcase his talent across different genres and styles.

Michael understands the importance of local theatre, having worked on numerous productions for various theatre companies all around Perth. He has also taken steps to involve himself in musical theatre with his most notable performance as "Kyle" in Legally Blonde the Musical (2019). Additionally, Michael shares a love and passion for screen acting, having been recognised for his efforts on numerous productions including The Heights television series (2018) and The War that Changed Us (2014). Across all areas, Michael has been commended for his professionalism on and offset, his ability to cooperate with all around him, and his versatile set of skills to bring to the forefront of entertainment.

More recently, Michael has applied his experiences to others helping to educate students in drama and performance from years 7 to 12. Similarly, Michael has taken on roles as a director for named performances of Dags by Debera Oswald and various children's theatre shorts for schooling and education. In combination, Michael has been striving to develop his skills to further enhance his performances and characters by undertaking classes in Boxing, Ju-Jitsu, Surfing and Rock Climbing. Commended for his professionalism as both an actor and director, Michael is excited to be a part of creating something amazing and willing to go that step further to bring an artistic vision to life.
