Rebecca Lakis -Smith

A spirited, passionate, adaptable and driven professional - Rebecca began her journey in the arts at an early age. She is a down to earth actor who has made the most of every role with a focused and committed presence.

With a background in community Theatre, Rebecca had been involved with her local players theatre for many years, appearing on stage, as well as behind the scenes, acting as the Assistant Stage Manager on several productions.

Since moving to Perth in early 2020 Rebecca has had a strong and consistent presence in the Student Film scene, performing in a large number of Student Films, notably with SAE and Edith Cowan University.

During her time working on these short films,she has gained skills and developed a degree of on-set experience that she takes pride in and believes will benefit her greatly in a professional aspect.

Rebecca has recently appeared in a music video for Eskimo Joe frontman, Kav Temperley and worked as an extra on the Australian film ‘It Only Takes a Night’. She has a strong passion for screen acting and storytelling, and is determined to utilise her ambition, hard work and versatility to continue evolving her career as an actor.
