ANGELINA CURTIS

Angelina is an actor and piano singer-songwriter known for making Top 8 in Australian Idol 2023, as well as playing the lead role of orphan Ellie in feature film Cheurbhead in 2021/22 and starring alongside Hollywood’s Kate Walsh in theatre production Mary Stuart at 2022 Perth Festival.
As a musician and singer, Angelina is known for winning Song of the Year in the WA Music Awards 2021 (for Old Land’s Tale, her anthem-style piano ballad) and being a 4 time nominee. Her original music streams on Spotify (over 250k streams) and all major platforms and she can be seen gigging around Perth. In Australian Idol she received the coveted ‘touchdown’ from Harry Connick Jr and was tipped by Kyle Sandilands as the ‘next Delta Goodrem’.
Her most significant screen acting role, and feature film debut, was the lead role of orphan Ellie in Australian indie feature film Cherubhead, shot in 2021 and premiered in 2022. For this she was nominated for Best Actress Oceania region at the European Septimius Film Awards 2022 alongside Heather Mitchell.
Angelina can also be seen in commercials for Crown Resorts Australia, Greyhounds WA and City of Perth, and in advertising for RAC WA. She is proficient in US, British and French accents and is always described as a delight to work with, mature, enthusiastic and easy to direct. She has received excellent acting coaching from Myles Pollard.
