Sarah Clarke

Sarah Clarke (she/her) is an actor, writer, director and photographer living and working in Melbourne (Naarm). A graduate of the full-time program at the Howard Fine Acting Studio Australia, she also holds an Advanced Diploma Arts (acting) and an ATCL from the Trinity College of London.

Sarah has been training and working as an artist in Melbourne for the last six years, performing in theatre productions, educational tours, Shakespeare, children’s theatre, web series, short and feature length films. As a co-founder of independent theatre company North of Eight (2016-present) and a company member at Wit Incorporated (2016-2019), she’s also run the full gamut of theatre-production roles, including acting, directing, lighting and sound operation, design, photography, PR, marketing and social media.

After a month long stay at Arteles Creative Centre in Finland, she completed a writing residency, where she created her first web series, JB, I Love You. Her first play Semi Charmed, premiered at the Melbourne Fringe Festival 2015, and other performance credits include: Complete Works – Much Ado About Nothing; Macbeth; Romeo & Juliet; The Crucible & The Dressmaker (2018-21), Due West Festival (2017), Brisbane Anywhere Theatre Festival, (2016, 2013), Melbourne International Comedy Festival (2016), Melbourne Fringe Festival (2018, 2015) and Adelaide Fringe Festival (2013).

Sarah is currently working as the program coordinator at Complete Works. She is committed to creating with and for the LGBTQI community and is a proud member of MEAA.
