Meg Spencer

Meg has just returned from London after a year of living and working as an actor. Her credits in the UK include an immersive theatre season of “Walking Backwards” with Serpentine Gallery Hyde Park and theatre maker Alex Cecchetti, a comedy short with The Hook UK, a Green Screen production for Dubai and a Toyota advert filmed in beautiful Croatia.

Among Meg’s Australian screen credits are ABC’s, “It’s A Date,” MIFF 2019 Official Selection; “Long Distance,” “Aunty Donna,” and upcoming mini-series “Lucky Boy.”
She’s done TVC’s for Homely, Kaboodle Kitchens, Toyota and three for Sportsbet.

Meg’s Australian stage credits include a National tour of Paul Jenning’s play “The Gizmo,’ Ibsen’s “Ellida” for the VCE Syllabus La Mama, “Three Sisters,” “Cloudstreet,” “A Pillar of Salt,” “Fallen Angels,” Brainstorm Productions National tour, “Shadows of Angels,” “Eight,” “Proctor What,” “Hell Hath No Fury,” “Oscar Wilde’s Women,” and “Tchekov at The House of Special Purpose,” La Mama.

As well as an actor, Meg is a script writer, producer and founder of Other People Productions and Imperfect Creators (UK).
Meg was the recipient of the BAF Nicholson Grant for the Melbourne production of her play “Glasshouse.” Her play “Sufferance” debuted as the opening show for the Melbourne Meat Markets new venue The Stables. She completed a Bachelor of Acting at Ballarat Arts Academy (now Federation Uni Arts Academy), and has been an ensemble member of Q44 Theatre. Meg is a proud advocate and student of PEM Studios Melbourne

Meg is a trained yoga instructor and in her spare time you can find her outside drawing or skate-boarding/falling off her skate-board.
