In 2005 he was offered a scholarship at the Total Theatre School of physical theatre and also received the inaugural Graham Emery Award, for achievement as a young artist. Shane is a member of Perth’s Impro-Comedy team The Big Hoo Haa and also performs Stand-Up/Musical Comedy (as Zack Adams) and was a RAW Comedy State finalist in 2007. In 2008, he began working as a performer/puppeteer with Spare Parts Puppet Theatre. Shane has also written for, produced and performed several times in various productions at the Adelaide Fringe Festival, The Brisbane Theatre Fringe, The Melbourne International Comedy Festival, The Wild West Comedy Festival, Perth Fringe, The Montreal Fringe Festival, The Ottawa Fringe (Canada). less
Nick Alexander
Nick Alexander is currently working for Nova 937 as an announcer after traveling the world as a DJ. He has done numerous TV commercials in Great Britain and Europe including Kickers Shoes and Mars Bars. Nick?s passion is golf and he has an 18 hole handicap. He also enjoys bike riding and swimming. However, he says that his greatest pleasure is talking with older people because he feels that he can learn so much from them.

In a recent and highly commended performance with Playlovers, in which he played the role of William Barfee in "The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee" Lauchlan was given rave reviews. As a classically trained singer and dancer originally, he began on what many perceived to be a career in classical music, but it was his love of theatre that truly saw him shine and encouraged him to apply for, and eventually graduate, with a Certificate II in Music Theatre from the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA). After leaving V.C.A. to appear in the ABC serial, “Home”, Tim travelled to New York, where he studied and performed at the HB Studio, directed by Herbert Berghof and, for a series of workshops on “Hamlet”, Anthony Hopkins. Fellow-students at HB Studio included Kerry Armstrong and Alexander Bernstein. After Tim returned to Australia, he worked in children’s theatre and television in Sydney and Melbourne before moving to Perth. Tim has been a founding member of ‘Moving Images Performing Arts Company’ (1987 – 1990); ‘The Edge Creative Arts Community and Performing Group’ (1991 – 1997) and Scripture Union Performing Arts Department (1998-2000).
