Michael Lamont was educated at Edith Cowan University/WAAPA and has been acting since age 11, having picked up the bug during his first school play. He performed his first Shakespeare, Taming of the Shrew, at the age of 15 and has gone on to appear in over 30 stage productions including The Tempest, The Sound of Music, and Henry V. Michael Lamont was educated at Edith Cowan University/WAAPA and has been acting since age 11, having picked up the bug during his first school play. He performed his first Shakespeare, Taming of the Shrew, at the age of 15 and has gone on to appear in over 30 stage productions including The Tempest, The Sound of Music, and Henry V. He has also appeared in several short films, and the feature films Fisheye Stiller, Japanese Story and Thunderstruck. Michael has a passion for writing both theatre and film pieces and is currently planning to step behind the camera during the next twelve months to film his epic self-written series: Shadow Walker. less
David Lazarus
David is extremely talented, enjoying the respect and admiration of his peers, adults and teachers. A natural actor, David appeared in his first feature film at the age of 9 with the child lead in the movie ‘Sumuru’, co-starring with Michael Shanks (of ‘Stargate’ fame). Simon came from England to Australia in 1978 and was acting in Perth amateur theatre before his return to the U.K. to study a Bachelor of Arts of the Performing Arts and Humanities at the University of East Anglia. On graduating Simon moved to London where he spent the next two years professionally touring the U.K. with the Jactito Theatre Co performing Shakespeare?s MacBeth (MacDuff) and The Tempest (Caliban). Returning to London Simon performed in a variety of professional productions (Richard III, Accidental Death of an Anarchist, Amadeus, etc) and fringe theatre Hamlet, Caucasian Chalk Circle, Endgame, etc). Simon also branched out into film and television performing in The Bill and Eastenders, music videos for Basement Jaxx and Robert Post, a Docu/Drama for the U.S Discovery channel with films 24 Hours in London and The Da Vinci Code. Simon returned to Perth in 2006 to continue acting and to study a Masters Degree in Film and Television Drama Production at Curtin University. Professional/cooperative roles in Perth since 2005 include A Girl in a Greatcoat (2006, dir Jenny Davis), Scheherazade (2007, dir Bruce Denny) and The Birthday Party (2008, dir Peter Clark). Phillip played Jock in The Club for Roleystone Theatre, Old Capulet (R & J) for Marloo, Dr Balanzoni (Venetian Twins) for The Old Mill in 2008.
