Maria’s interest in the performing arts began at a very early age. She has been dancing since the age of five and is trained in tap, jazz, and hip hop. She has also had vocal training since the age of seven and in her first year she was selected to present her first solo singing performance at the Burswood Theatre, since then she has won numerous awards. However Maria’s strongest passion is acting and it began in her first stage role at the Perth Concert Hall, when she was seven. Since then she has performed in many musical theatre productions including the King and I (Regal Theatre), South Pacific, Annie, Aladdin and Grease. She was also offered a triple scholarship to John Curtin College of the Arts to study a choice of Dance, Drama and Musical Theatre. Maria is a dedicated and focused young actor who takes direction very well and is a fast learner. She wishes to further her knowledge and experience in acting, and will bring enthusiasm and passion to every challenge.
