Robert Gander
Born in the UK, Rob acted in many plays through school and then went on to perform in community theatre productions whilst at university. Rob then met his now wife & moved to Australia in 1995. With getting married and starting a family, circumstances dictated that Rob didn’t get the opportunity to put sufficient time into acting. However, he just could not put acting behind him & decided to start again. In 2005 Rob joined The Actors Workshop where he participated in many plays including playing the lead roles of Jack Worthing in The Importance of Being Earnest and Zach in A Chorus Line. Having commenced acting classes, Rob then started winning roles in short films, whilst also continuing to work in the theatre. Rob recently took 6 months off to start a small business, but now this is established has the time to pursue his passion for acting, most recently in a film entered into Tropfest.
