From a young age Lauchlan was a natural performer with very real and diverse talents. This has seen him play very different and often challenging roles. In a recent and highly commended performance with Playlovers, in which he played the role of William Barfee in "The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee" Lauchlan was given rave reviews. As a classically trained singer and dancer originally, he began on what many perceived to be a career in classical music, but it was his love of theatre that truly saw him shine and encouraged him to apply for, and eventually graduate, with a Certificate II in Music Theatre from the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA). From the very beginning when he knew performing was what he wanted to do Lauchlan has never looked back. He is always looking for his next role that will challenge him, either on the stage or screen, and to work with a great team of crew and cast.
