David Pragnell was born in Southampton in the UK and arrived in Perth in 1973. He commenced teacher training in 1974 and on graduation worked in secondary schools, teaching English, Speech and Drama. He found teaching to be very demanding, requiring the patience of a saint, which he didn’t have, but he and the students survived. He recently retired from teaching and and for a short while taught oral English in Chinese high schools. He has had a number of years experience in community theatre and would like to widen his scope in film, TV and advertisi.
